What Oracle Play stores, why, and how to delete it.

The short version

You can use the whole experience without giving us your name, your email or a wallet. We do not sell data or run advertising networks. Any optional traffic measurement that is enabled is described below.

The session cookie

When you first draw a card we set one cookie, oracleplay_session, holding a random identifier. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, lasts one year, and is what lets your reading history and quest progress survive a page reload. It contains no personal information and is not shared with anyone.

This cookie is strictly necessary for the features you actively use. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site ends the session and orphans the records tied to it.

What is stored on the server

Readings: the language, the topic you chose, which card came up, and a timestamp — linked to the random session identifier, never to you.

Quest progress: which of the five Web3 levels you have completed.

Optional profile: only if you deliberately fill in the form, a display name and an email address. This is optional, it is not required for anything, and nothing is sent to you unless you asked for it.

What is stored in your browser

Your chosen language is kept in localStorage under oracleplay_locale so the site opens in the same world next time. It never leaves your device.

Deleting your data

"Clear history" inside the app deletes every reading tied to your session immediately and permanently. Clearing the site's cookies removes the link between you and any remaining record.

To have a saved profile deleted, write to hello@ngneo.com from the address you entered and we will remove it.

Leaving the site

Platform links point to third-party cryptocurrency exchanges. We send a referral code in the URL and nothing else — no name, no email, no browsing history. Once you arrive, that platform's own privacy policy applies and we have no visibility into what happens there.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly store data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, Brazil's LGPD, Vietnam's PDPD and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act — you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase what we hold, and to withdraw consent. Because the core experience is anonymous, there is usually nothing to hand over beyond a session's readings. Write to hello@ngneo.com and we will answer.

Google Analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, this site loads Google Analytics. Google may then set analytics cookies and receive information about the page, device, approximate location and interactions under Google's own terms. We disable advertising signals and do not load the service after a refusal. Your choice is stored in this browser under oracleplay_analytics_consent; use the analytics settings button on this page to change it.
